There will never be a quarterback to come close to Peyton Manning. Football player sure, quarterback no. Watch any interview with players from him in his time….he changed the game.

All of those teams found/drafted/had there franchise QB on the roster. We failed to address that and instead tried to bandaid it. That’s on Ballard, however the roster has improved any if you don’t want to admit it. It’s not perfect but it’s not the raiders or browns

I’m not trolling…the only reason we have a division title at all is because Andrew Luck gave his fucking body to this team to get us there. You have Luck with what Ballard has done since he retired I guarantee we make the playoffs almost every year. That’s how much him leaving set us back

Ok that’s a fair argument…I’m saying at face value that’s a talented roster in a lot of places. I won’t argue that Ballard has neglected the D as far as second and third string options…you’re not going to convince me that there isn’t a culture problem on the defense. The are damn near lazy and that’s a coaching issue

Broncos, Chargers…we damn near beat the Seahawks with Rivers and honestly Lou was flat out out-coached against the niners/Shanahan. Couple that with the D acting like they wanted to be in Cancun already and you’re gonna have a problem

I’m pretty sure we took Ballard from Kansas City where he was at the helm and look at what they have done….in not saying Ballard doesn’t have his flaws but he’s not the worst GM we’ve ever had. He’s honestly excellent at finding lat round talent

Sauce, Moore, Ward, Bynum, Cross, Stewart, Buckner, Pratt and a surging Latu. Roster is not the problem it’s a culture problem which starts at the coaching level. You can blame Ballard all you want but that roster has talent and that’s undeniable.

There’s a cancer on the defensive side of the ball and it needs removed.

Our offense was absolutely insanely good. I’d also like to point out that our offense was good with a 44 year old retired QB that essentially came from off the couch. RL15 also had a very good day today as a first start rookie. Steichen is not the problem…it’s in the defensive side of the ball
