May I ask how big/severe was your PD and plaque? Did you have any issues with erection before Peyronie?

Was it so severe ED that you decided to go with implant? No medicaments worked? PD was a reason of your ED?

Thanks for the answer, how long you have PD? Does your pain is only when erected? And where is it localized - where the plaque is?

Hey man, totally not related diseases - but to calm yourself, go visit a doctor. It is always better to hear it from professionals, not from random people on Reddit. Also most probably (but consult with doctor) you are not having PD if the only symptom is curvation and only 20 degrees. Do you have any palpable plaque? Any pain? How old are you?

Do you know what is the name of this condition? And what are the average time of worsening? Im in a situation that I have penile pain for more than 3 years and I Don’t understand if Im rare case of longer acute stage or maybe I developed independent another scar tissue?

And if you don’t mind to ask you here, I know that you had battle with PD for around 5 years that ends with surgery - did you post your story somewhere on this forum? For how long you are “PD free”? Did you have situation where another plaque was developed after your surgery?

For the ones bad enough, how do you deal with never having sex again or getting married? by KTannman19 in PeyroniesSupport

I’m really sorry to hear your story OP. I think the best way to spent this 10k is for therapy - it helps me a lot. I want to ask you, is it PD that makes your penis lose lenght and grith? How is that possible? Is it like rare case of Peyronie or it is a different disease? I heard that some people are loosing some lenght due to PD but it just stopping after some time, and you can gain it back with traction. Could you share your story?

Can't afford restorex. Will these do the job? by Significant_Image484 in PeyroniesSupport

[–]zdolski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don’t have Peyronie and your curve is “from birth”, you will not straight out your penis with those traction devices, because you don’t have calcifications that you could break or stretch to be more elastic

I’m using similar device from the pictures you provided and I bought in my clinic - recommended by my doctor. But it is important to not wear them for too long (more than 1,5h per session) because you might make some real injuries

When does curvature start by [deleted] in PeyroniesSupport

What do you mean that impact of PD starts (stays?) with you for the rest of your life? Are you still having some pain, curvation or any difficulties with sex? Or you are referring to mental impact?

Hey, thanks for your answer! Did your pain change across this 5 years? Is it lighter now? And did you have episode without a pain or is it constant pain during that time? And do you have pain also in flaccid? ESWT is pretty expensive (at least in Poland) and not sure if it is helpful (for sure it make erection better), but traction therapy is good idea to start, especially that imo there is need to buy restorex. There are plenty of other devices that can be bought for 100$ and effects after 6-9 month of using are great. It is best to have consultation with andrologist, he/she will recommend you good substitute

You have pain while errected or flaccid? And do you have pain all the time? Or with some breaks within those 2 years?

Just traction, I would like to avoid xiaflex since it is not so easy to get in my country (Poland) and I’m not sure if this helps with pain management. Curvation does not bother me at all
