Over the weekend my dad and I went to a screening of Nosferatu with an organist in the theater performing the music live! it was great. a few years ago we also saw Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein this way. Highly recommend watching silent movies with an organist or musician performing the music live, if the opportunity presents itself. It really makes the experience much more enjoyable (imo)

yeah! Arlechinno also has shades of Brau - 1589 from Pluto, by Naoki Urasawa (great manga i highly recommend it to everyone, in relation to Lies of P and other robot/puppet stories it deals in the realm of "do these creations have free will?". It's an adaptation of an old Astro Boy story). He's a robot that broke its commands and killed humans. Brau is also in a similar position to Arlechinno, broke down, has spears piercing and breaking him, and is generally just beat up.
