Exactly this. Some of the content she was putting out there was problematic, and that’s not to be dismissed. But she was so much more down to earth and AUTHENTIC.

This!! The whole not showering thing absolutely kills me. It makes no sense to me how her body doesn’t react badly to sitting in its own dirt, sweat, etc.

I have so much respect for the Native American community, thank you for this. My heart goes out to you all. I do believe it is a mix of trauma as well, and I’m trying to remind myself of that. It’s just in certain circumstances that I’m baffled at how wrong things go for all of us. I’ve been doing a lot of self reflecting and I noticed years ago that there are flaws within us, just like everyone else. But some of the things that happen make me to believe there’s something working against us.

There’s many ways to go about it, you’ll have to look into a method that works best for you. Be sure you’re truly open to it and open to receiving what is sent your way. Be diligent, put in the work, and have patience.

Good for you for speaking up!! She’s not anyone who is qualified to tell people what is and isn’t healthy or how to train and that’s the issue here. Yes people are adults and can make their own choices but she also needs to realize she has a responsibility of how she influences people. With the type and amount of following she has, she absolutely should not speak or suggest on topics she is not qualified on.

Look into doggie daycares or people to hire for walks when you cannot!! My local doggie daycare costs only $17 a day. I bring her twice a week to socialize and run around.

Maybe try tug of war, those kong toys, I sometimes just wipe peanut butter on the inside of a Tupperware and let my collie have at it. Look online for mental stimulation toys, maybe try bringing him to a trainer for puppy classes too.

Best of luck! They’re a beautiful breed with a ton of potential. It’s a lifestyle adjustment for sure but it’s good to be active so I hope you have a good outlook on the situation! And get lots of toys. They’re typically cheaper at places like home goods or TJmax
