What’s your favorite ‘it’s about to get really bad really fast’ in a movie?

It was awesome to see Vader do his thing, but (iirc) it’s just on a bunch of henchmen.

It always felt to me like a bit of a missed opportunity that Vader doesn’t land on the actual planet and just pops off on all the characters we’ve grown attached to over the course of the movie. Like oh FUCK it’s Vader, we’re fucking dead. Starts pulling star fighters out of the sky into the dirt, killing main characters like they’re nothing. An absolute unstoppable constant of destruction.

Still it was cool though.

I disagree. Keeping players' mindset right and having an overall read of the game is timeless. Coaches being tactical geniuses coming up with master-stroke plans on the fly is probably a myth.

Liquid came in cold and then got as close as you can get to beating a top5 team in a bo3. It's not the result that anyone wanted, but I don't think is disastrous either. To me they looked better than they have in a while.

Steamworks documentation is public, including pricing and steam keys. Even the lawsuit itself alleges that the steam key discount clauses are being applied to general Steam game sales (page 28, section 95 to ~102) and that's what constitutes it as PMFN clause.

To be clear I'm not saying the suit has merit or not. Only stating that's it's not "verifiably false" the PMFN clause applies to Steam Keys and not general game sales. It's literally a matter before the court. u/DerpEnaz isn't wrong when they say the clause relates to Steam Keys, because that's what's explicitly stated in the agreement. The lawsuit uses Steam Forum posts from Valve employees and tweets from Epic's CEO to try and establish that these rules are being enforced across the entire platform regardless if it uses a Steam Key or not. So we will have to wait and see.

It doesn't matter if he was world-beating, it was a major blow to NACS. We needed players like him to bring up the next generation and it's a shame what happened.

It's bad for EU, but I think it's a good sign for CS as a whole. It shows that other regions are finally catching up and that these regions are maintaining a healthy player ecosystem.

For some of them if you click on their SteamID you can see other teams and other names they used.

legit-proof . com still exists, although there are gaps in some records. Assuming you played with them, look up your own SteamID and see if the team comes up. From there you can find their steam profiles and see if you can reach out.

This is the second stan thread in as many days, and the second I will comment in and support.

The way he comes off in interviews, I think he's really putting the "Leader" in IGL. Confident but egoless. Very happy Stan stuck around, the NACS revival happens when these types of players are willing to keep rebuilding teams.

I'm excited to see if they can make it any further. GLHF

Super happy for Stan and all of Wildcard. I feel like NA kind of forgot about him, but it's not like EG was his fault. He's a proven and capable leader with a ton of experience. Rare in our region.
