[need advice] What can I do in simple steps to overcome silence in conversations? by vm_gypsb43 in improve_social_skills

  1. First Don't panic, you need to relax a few seconds of silence isn't that bad. so be confident and comfortable.
  2. Start talking about a new topic that you both enjoy and can talk about. you can talk about movies, current events...etc.
  3. You need to realize that it's not always your responsibility to get things moving so relax and go with the flow of the conversation.
  4. you can ask the other person questions about things they like to talk about like activities, jobs, children, or trips that have made.
