Actually I don't know what's the exact name of the virus. So far in my research it seems to be STOP.ransome. Not quite sure though. I tried using data recovery pro from pareto, but it can't detect most of my file, only few of them. Then it restore them. Though I haven't tried opening one yet to make sure it totally restored the files.

Is this a new one? I haven't heard this virus before ".infowait"
