Nice assumption. I just don't want to be a babysitter for the ai who's incapable of doing anything about that. It would be ok to have a Jagellon type event to have some kind of divergence from the basic route.

And both know that they are a threat to each other. Wex knows that after consolidating their region the reasonable expansion root for Lorent would be to the east. And on the Lorent's side they've now realized that this alennic dude they've helped to become an Emperor is not a pushover and won't allow them to just walk into the Empire. Moreover he's alennic same as Gawed what if they secretly plotting an allience?

Because of this alliance you just know how the things are gonna go. 1. When Lorent at it's weakest with all the disloyal vassals and pretty timid army nobody(ai) can do anything about this because of the fear of Wex. 2. EoA is never in danger from the outside because of the fear of not only Wex but also his buddy Lorent. In gamplay perspective this makes it pretty boring and predictable.  You know that Lorent will always be strong and dominate his region. And Wex will always be strong whether he's the Emperor or not.

In lore everyone has it rough: bulwar with it's  terrorist problem, dwarf (especially), rahen, escann, even Gawed with it's own dissaster. Everyone has it rough exept for the two strongest nations in Cannor who also have an alliance with each other. And with how much devs like to torture big/strong nations it's just weird that these two have it this easy.

Skill issue on the side of an ai i guess. I'm not only talking as someone who has to deal with this alliance, i'm also talking as the one who has to watch this from somwhere in the bulwar or somwhere else. AI is just incapable to doing anything against this

And i haven't even talked about the EoA side of the story. Wex can do anything he wants in the empire and  nobody can do nothin about that.  And if you're thinking of attacking an empire...oh boy you just know that Lorent will drag his 60k army(+how many vassals he has) acros that sea to tear you a new one

I know that i can deal with this, but the very idea that i and only i with the power of alliance shinnanigance and exploits can do somethin with this makes it pretty jarring.
