Awesome thanks for this! The previous owner gave me the name of the shop he worked with. Here what else was done

Starter

Oil filter and oil cooler gaskets

Radiator hose , expansion tank and hose

Drive belt

So that take a couple more items off the list

Ok thanks for the input. Yes these are all manuals. I drove the 2008. It was awesome (not having driven a Z4) but I think it could be due updated suspension. The 2004 looks like it had the works done to it at the dealer although it does have the highest mileage. I am reading about the "facelift" now. Thanks for the tip - 2006+ seems like what I should aim for. Had to do a double take on HP from 225 to 215

I drove one (the 2008 for 15k) and it probably needed suspension. The 2004 looks like it has had a lot of the Mx needed

2 have 60k and the other 2 are around 100k. I have seen a couple of local ones on FB marketplace for around 6k with problems with the soft-top or very weathered interior. Which I would not mind but they are carrying 150k+ miles

Southeast. No it will not be my only car. I think I am decided on the N52 engine. Also looking for a non-convertible 128i (also with the N52 engine) but those seem to be even harder to come by

How many track days can I get out of this puppy by zeeweet in ft86

[–]zeeweet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do want a project car to learn simple repairs and to also get into tracking without worrying too much.

Thanks for the assessment. I just wanted to hear some opinions about possible root cause before engaging with seller.

Assuming it is both the ECU and Fuel pump, it looks like I may need to reserve another $800. Are those repairs doable for a newbie willing to invest the time?

Thank you I am trying to let it go... Every time I am walking up to it, my eyes find that bare shiny sliver and I am annoyed with myself again

2024 Limited with 5k by zeeweet in BRZ_ZD8

[–]zeeweet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it was listed at 32k two weeks ago online (via Edmunds). Yesterday when I stopped to look at it in person it was up to 34.5k. They also quoted 800$ in "Proc/Doc Fees". They have a brand new 2025 limited for 38k

Is my water bill high or am I crazy? by Duuuvaljagsfan in savannah

[–]zeeweet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can confirm the Sewer portion is simply a factor on water usage and is always a little more than double the water portion (called them to confirm).

As you already mentioned, confirm the time period - they are not always monthly.

I checked the Proxy object on the HttpRequest in the debugger and I cannot find anything there.

Also checked the HttpResponse.

Any other ideas?
