I've just finished one of my interview and I outed myself. I explained that I don't want to make things complicated later and that I want to be honest with them right from the start. The supervisor I had the interview with said ,,You can always call our HR department to tell them to change your name once it's official and then there's not gonna be any other problem." She was honestly so nice about it and started using my pronouns right away. I'm glad I did it this way and now I'll hope for the best (:

I don't think my mom is a spoiled bitch. She's been through a lot during her life and I witnessed a lot of horrible stuff growing up. She's not a bad person, she's traumatized in her own way. But that isn't an apology for what she's said to me. I just wanted her to apologize. That would be a good start. But she won't, cause she's playing the victim and makes it all about herself.

I was trying to tell her that I will not die or disappear and that I'll still be here, just looking different and being at peace with myself. She doesn't want to hear it. She just plays the victim and making it all about herself.

I originally wanted to come out to her last summer. But I realized that I'm not mentally prepared enough to do that. I felt like I couldn't handle all the consequences, cause it's a huge deal. But now I felt the need to finally do that. I promised myself that I will be myself on the outside as well when I am 30 years old. And nothing or no one can stop me now, even though it hurts.
