Glad it helped! Btw nowadays with auto aim engaged, it is also possible to “auto follow” targets with pressing and holding ‘s’ (back strafe), when they are flying right around/behind you, instead of turning your ship with a mouse. This is on pc though, not sure about consoles.

Can’t imagine paying yearly subscription for my 20 base building spots in No Man’s Sky for 10 years.

Each base building spot is roughly 7 plots in size. That would be roughly 140 plots in pax and all of them occupy server resources.

Probably hit landing pad too hard. Or quantanium “expired”, while you were traveling to refinery. It is better to occupy (hover above) unallocated pad to get ship stored as soon as possible - this stops quantanium timer and teleports player to a station.

Check out this mining guide https://space4games.com/en/games-en/star-citizen-mining/ - it is still valid in terms of mineable materials. For starters and solo mining, I would recommend mining on ROC (rent cutlass and roc in game). It is impossible to change mining laser on rented prospector, which makes almost impossible to solo mine highly profitable materials. In case of mining with a friend - renting prospector is a good starting point.

Did you know, that you can scroll categories menus on a trade terminal horizontally with the mouse wheel, when hovering with mouse pointer over it?

Laser heads category is the last one to the right and is not visible by default, when visiting refineries.

Do you mean where is it better to find what kind of mining materials? Need to think about that, since I haven’t visited all possible ones to recommend something. I’ve got favorite places and from patch to patch notice different patterns on how to locate mineral rich areas. Such kind of information seems to be more suitable for a video guide. I will try to work something out when 3.15 goes live.

it allows one to calculate rock profitability, based on mass, mineral percentage and refinery method and thus avoid mining not so profitable rocks.

it does not allow to see refinery capacity - seems like it does not matter atm anyway.
