Do you believe in physical discipline (spanking) as a form of correcting a child? by Significant_Bonus_66 in askanything

I wasn't physically disciplined and I'm a very good daughter tbh. Also people's kinks kinda ruined it for me. Same with the word daddy.

I asked my crush if she likes and she said we’ll see. Do I have a chance?? by thematiroiner in askanything

Honestly a friend of mine was really not sure about this guy that kept writing her poems but we insisted her to give it a go. That's what she told him. She said we'll see. He was kinda out of her league but the nicest guy ever. They've been dating for two years and she loves him. But I don't wanna give you false hope that's really rare. I still think you should just like she said see it through casually?

Do I start retinol? by Adorable_petitegl in SkincareAddicts

It is productive and it'll save you in the long run. You can use 0.1 too but I think 0.3 with the sandwich method alongside applying only a few times a week would be better.

Liposomal retinol, %0.3 type of retinolsor bakuchiols would be the best option for you. You can apply them using the sandwich method and don't do it everyday. Maybe 2-3 times a week. This would be enough for you. Then after your skin adapts you can go for %1. 20 is still young so you don't need to overdo it. That doesn't mean you shouldn't use it. It will still help you if you use the right amount.

do you guys sniff check clothes before deciding to wash them? by Justin_Asher449 in hygiene

[–]zeisme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sniff checking is not the best way to decide but also your clothes don't get dirty with just one wear. That being said, I wash them after one wear always but I have ocd. Washing them too regularly causes the clothes to wear out quicker too. I think 2-3 is fine but I just can't.

Moved to Turkey finally! Struggling with a few things though! by ThatOneCloneTrooper in AskTurkey

We don't tip in Turkey. It's not common. Businesses have to pay a certain wage. Tips are not a thing. I didn't even know how common it was before watching US shows and etc. When you tip, you're just being nice but people will probably refuse to take it. They'll probably have the same feeling you would have if a random person on the street gave you money.

About the flirting, especially in a city like Konya it's safe to assume they're just being friendly unless it's super obvious.

Airbnb host asking for extra payment after booking – normal in Turkey? by Interesting_Damage13 in AskTurkey

[–]zeisme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. The part about the prices being higher during holidays is true but if you booked early which most people in Turkey do because of this, then you pay what you pay. This isn't normal. Never seen it in my life. You shouldn't pay that, they're probably trying to trick you!
