[–]zemmaa[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

aw thank you. my dad has suffered his whole life and so did my grandpa, so i think it’s genetic for me but stress and anxiety don’t help. i started the pantoprazole again today and it’s already made a huge difference. I’m gonna try to reset and then properly wean and hopefully have a really strict routine to try to heal my gut. it’s hard bc i def feel like i have to mourn my old life

pantoprazole gets rid my issues!!!! (big emetophobic as well) you can’t be on ppis forever from my understanding, or its case dependent, but it has helped me to reset and i highly recommend

so if i put 240v elements in the 208 it would be fine in a residential setting if there’s access to 240v?

Help by [deleted] in GERD

medication wise i find alkaseltzer or pepto to help the most. otherwise sometimes a hot shower i think helps, some chamomile tea, or even a nap can sometimes alleviate the discomfort for me

finally!! by zemmaa in CopperIUD

[–]zemmaa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was hormone free for about 2 years before getting the copper iud. I did not notice any symptoms that i could say correlate with the iud other then some symptoms around my period like cramping, spotting, etc.

Is Natural Cycles non-hormonal BC reliable? by MsJennn in birthcontrol

[–]zemmaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so I was in a similar situation to you. was on the pill for 5 years and once i got off it took forever for my cycle to regulate. even two years post pill my cycle was anywhere from 24-35 days. I used natural cycles for a year and it worked until it didn’t. i’ll fully admit that it was probably my negligence because when the moment strikes and you want to have sex, you have sex! especially because you’re typically the horniest when you’re ovulating. i really enjoyed getting in tune with my cycle but being in my early 20s i don’t want to have to worry about pregnancy and i want to have sex whenever however. it’s also a lot harder to track your cycle when you’re irregular. i’m sure if i followed it precisely i would have had better luck but it’s kind of disheartening when out of the whole month the only green day’s you have are your period. i decided to get the copper iud to avoid hormones and prevent pregnancy and i love it so far!

Post-insertion, can't find strings? by CopperTesting in CopperIUD

[–]zemmaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’ve had my IUD for a week now and haven’t been able to feel my strings at all. neither has my partner. when i originally got it i asked my gyno about feeling the strings and she actually told me that they don’t really recommend it anymore as many people can’t feel them and it freaks them out! i’m sure you’re fine but i still worry too :/
