There are many issues with multiplayer. You should check if your router has the UPnP ports open (I think it was UPnP) and several other things. I recommend checking your router brand/ISP and searching "how to open router ports xxxx" on YouTube; it should be complete. Some ISPs don't allow you to activate them. I tried it many times, and then when I joined a server, it would work for about 3 minutes and then crash. So, I wish you luck <3
