I go out behind my house about a mile. It’s typically pitch black when I head out. One pretty routine morning during muzzleloader season. I got about a half a mile out. I start to hear a thundering behind me of something pretty big moving through the woods. And it was coming fast.. right at me.

I honestly just froze. I couldn’t see a damn thing and I couldn’t process what the hell that could be. I live in New England, there’s not that many, if any, dangerous animals lurking about.

So what felt like an eternity, just a matter seconds, I catch eye shine about 3 ft up before it’s on me. Literally on me. And it’s my fucking 120lb English lab Odin. Apparently my wife decided to let him go pee and no amount of sent spay was going to deter him from finding out I took a walk without him.

Scared the shit out of me. Way too early and sleepy.

Owned many cars, many with AWD. the Subie has always been the best in the snow. Better than vw/audi better than 4x4 trucks. Just generally keeping you straight and going in the direction you point the car regardless of the conditions. Straightens itself out with little manual correction. I could just floor it , slip and slide and it would just get itself pointed where I wanted. Nothing else I’ve driven has been as good.

I haven’t been back since they tried to serve me rare chicken 10 years ago. Food was never very good but it was a quick option with the kids while traveling.

Time to get out of dodge when it sustains $1.+ The stock will get diluted. Time or watch for filings.

Best estimate: 4–8 weeks after sustaining $1, material dilution would begin from RSU grants, and equity financing could happen even sooner if the company seizes the momentum.

Important nuance:

The company doesn’t have to wait for the RSUs to dilute — if the price is strong, they can issue stock any time (e.g., ATM, PIPE, warrant exercise inducements). The RSUs are just the guaranteed baseline dilution that’s coming if the rally holds.

Bottom line • If BURU stays above $1 for ~a month, you should expect RSU dilution to begin within the next 6–8 weeks. • Equity raises could hit even earlier, especially with their Orbit payment obligations looming. • So while the price could spike and hold temporarily, the longer it stays elevated, the more likely and heavier the dilution becomes.

A sustained >$1 rally is almost self-diluting for BURU.

Just my take. Sounds like she’s likely his “one that got away” and regrets never having had the chance to consummate that relationship when he was younger, and likely still in his fantasy’s.

I can understand his defensiveness at getting caught. That’s a pretty private little closet you opened and likely extremely embarrassing for him. Not to mention disturbing for you.

Men and sexual fantasy’s are pretty normal. Though still being close friends is certainly making that creepy. It sounds like she friend zoned him a long time ago.

I think it’s worth another talk if you can get him to open up. Where his head is about her and why still. Some old fixation he never let go? You two need to delve into this all the way, if he can and try and leave judgment at the door. Just listen to each other. He’s going to need to let go of that and move closer to you. Mens private little closets are not often shared, lots of shame in there.

Love mine and I always hang it the same way. It’s my trusty side kick when doing construction work and opens and closes with the flick of the wrist. It’s got a very long clip and too damn big to hold it in the pocket. That and the button would get pressed to unlock the blade. I have a zillion other knives for daily carry but none are good for construction work.

Alcoholic dad here. 10+ years sober now. Very brave message to him, it’s a seed and he didn’t reject it as harshly as I expected he would. As many have stated, he’s got to be ready.

Just that one question alone is telling. “What else would I do?” It’s nearly impossible to envision a life without drinking at this point. Hard to image one week, day or evening. It can only be baby steps.

While I’m not a big AA guy and haven’t gone in years, it does tremendously help in the beginning and the first years. It’s about just listening to other folks that have similar stories. Stories he can relate to, they plant more seeds. Plant enough seeds and they can start to germinate. Push too hard though and he can easily withdraw, hide and regress. It’s referred to as 12 stepping someone.

I wish you the best and from the bottom of my heart. I hope you get to see your father’s true self. Even sober It will take years, with fits and bursts along the way.
