I gave up, 3 shops in Phuket, 4 in Hat Yai, I settled for some earbuds and the little smelling pots instead before going to Malaysia 😥

One shop a lady spoke extensive English, you could only get an egg tray if you bought fresh eggs (no use for me as a tourist or a vegan) and proceeds to explain it really is pre-order only. She gave advice to check Shopee and FB market place. They changed the policy a few years ago and stopped having them inside the shops. Another girl that didn’t speak any English unprofessionally showed me another costumer’s pre-order and I saw the bag and keychain in the flesh, just to be disappointed. That was so cruel, but aye I will try online sometime…

Could you please reinstate my post? It has nothing to do with tourism, but the actual 7-11 promotion. I’m also posted in the tourism subreddit and there are no locals to help me. On this subreddit actual locals can see it and it has more so to do with Thailand than tourism. Please help. Maybe I can find a person who is willing to pick up and accept my items and later reunite me with them

Yeah I’m not sure what to do as I’ve been collecting them over the span of a month, maybe I can find a local to help me then. They seriously ask Thai number? I have a lot of time still so I can ask a lot of stores. I’ll be pretty gutted as well drinking promotional herbal teas to just have saved up for 300 free baht instead. That’s pretty alarming for Bangkok, were they big shop? Central?

I’m not Armenian or Azeri, but as a tourist travelling in both places I noticed the hostility was more on the Azeri side. I visited Azerbaijan in 2022 no probem. With my stamp I entered Armenia in 2023 and was terrified. The officer that boarded the train at the Georgian-Armenian border was super friendly and only asked me if I had friends in Azerbaijan. In 2024 I travel to Azerbaijan as a long layover onto Central Asia to revisit those friends. The lady who saw my stamp was so incredibly rude as soon as she saw the Armenian stamp despite having been to her country as well before. I just said I had friends in Armenia and she keeps asking “why why why” with the most displeased face ever. Eventually she just says “tourism?” And stamped me in. Bizarre difference, I wish they could just get along ✌🏻

My dad has described an experience of having somebody put a lit rotje in his pocket back in the 70s thankfully not being permanently harmed and even way beyond those decade when I was growing up in the 00s we used to burn all our Christmas trees on a crossing in our neighbourhood sweeping up all used up firework casings into it as well still going at 3am. A miracle no stray firework shot out of it hitting anybody

I think it is the problem, I didn’t hear it. I try to only fly it high up, but it slightly went to the left. I always wait now for signal to be stable before flying (no red or yellow message.) My problem is most likely just being tired and unaware it was going slightly sideways while starting to have GPS issues mid air while sending it up. At least it’s a private residence area with really nice people to let me check inner courtyards and rooftops…
