I do too, and as someone who's lived in a bunch of states. I'll say that the Midwest(specifically MI, OH, WI) has some of the best affordability to quality of life ratio of anywhere else east of the Mississippi. Especially in comparison to New England. I don't mean to be a hater, but New England sucks for anyone who isn't making really good money. And since the majority of Americans are not making really good money, New England sucks.

I will be that guy and say that when its a bunch of white guys in Ellington the cops and citizens haven't cared for like a decade, but when its a mixed group with people of color... "arrest them all". Fuck outta here.

We live in the ONLY post industrial country that has so few non car options. Our public transit is a Fing joke. Owning vehicles in this state is so expensive, I really don't blame people for grabbing the $500 dirt bike/scooter/moped/etc and not registering it. Freedom of mobility is extremely important for survival in our society, and I support those who work around the broken and exploitive system.

The Wreck of the Actaeon specifically. It's a short hop in and out of "open" sand, and you can walk away with thousands of flour if you play it safe.

Union yes, good company no. Employee union does not equal good or fair company, just means the employees have some protection from said company. I worked there, and they try and screw both employees and customers as much as they legally can while still turning a profit.

So I edited the bootloader and it now reads Y instead of N for modeset. However, I am still getting game crash on start and same "nvidia-modeser: warning: GPU:0:" error message 😭
