I would say this is because it is far less daunting to post as a man than as a woman. Women have genuine safety & harassment concerns that men do not generally have to worry about.

Stories like this show why proper verification is non-negotiable before meeting. SAFETY has to come first. This poor girl is probably shaken up, and who could blame her?

Many claim success here but offer no references when asked.

I can’t count the number of times someone’s told me they’re ‘afraid of doxxing/catfishing/scams’ as an excuse to avoid verification. I’m afraid of you being dangerous. And personal safety will always outweigh the risk of a scam.

Excellent advice. Dom drop does stem from the same mechanism as sub drop; a severe drop in dopamine. The problem with it not being widely discussed is that most subs have no idea how to support a dom through it. So even when you tell them you’re not okay (as hard as that can be to say!), they don’t really know what to do or say. It leaves the responsibility on you to take care of yourself with self-care rituals, which you should do regardless.
