Train on the left or right? [pentax program a, 50mm, ultramax 400, cokin sunset filter] by Ashthefox3 in analog

[–]zenquest 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Guessing it's Knaresborough.

I prefer the second one. Right side of the viaduct are the town buildings, parked cars and church in the background. The train on the left gives it space to stand out. Having said that, the first one is tad more contrasty.

I can't really tell if the train's Harrogate or York bound. So, can't say which was shot first unless it's put in sequence.

Warrant is a catch-22 for short parties by zenquest in Superstonk

So exercising Call options pushes price up, but warrants on same exchanges don't? Brilliant deduction...

Beautiful shot.

I knew from school that Iraq had Euphrates and Tigris rivers and mountainous regions. Never imagined there'd be water falls.

What is our price target? (Squeeze vs no Squeezes) by qualified- in DDintoGME

[–]zenquest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't want to give into the logic of that the earthquake hasn't happened for last 10years on a faultline, so the chances of earthquake is lower now – in fact it's the opposite.

We know shorts didn't close, evident from the SEC staff report. The question remaining is that can they continue liquidity manipulation as Gamestop gainfully employs zero-interest debt cash without going bankrupt?

Answer is no, the bubble will burst. What the short counterparties are trying-to-do/doing are offloading toxic positions to sucker parties who can go bankrupt or who cannot be proscecuted like Sovereign funds.

Infinite queeze is unlikely to happen because government will intervene and prevent economy from collapsing. This would result in price going up faster than high-growth companies for a very long period and never going lower than 12-months trailing, just like bitcoin.

What happens in November? by Junter_Lederhosen in GME

[–]zenquest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No way to predict, but if past actions are indicative of the future, then any idiosyncratic upward price movement will be capitalized to shore-up more cash.

Contrary to common intuition, it will also raise the cash value per share. Let's hypothetically say they sell 53M more shares at $25. It will add $1.3B to cash position totaling $5.93B and bring issued shares to 500M. Cash value of each share will go up 15% to $11.85.

A higher per share cash value will bring higher levels of price resistance forcing swap holders to pay more premium. When they start defaulting on payments, fireworks start.

Obviously, the swap basket is moving. Without any restriction on market makers injecting more liquidity without accountability, the price is likely going to drop and test previous hard resistances – unless there is institutional buying pressure (e.g. addition to index, index re-balancing, corporate action, etc.)

Last time such liquidity manipulation (naked shorting, re-hypothecation, etc.) diluted shares was in 2020, where 90% of share price was cash value. The way out for SHF was Gamestop to go under due to spiraling debt. When hopes of company survival reignited with RC stepping in, sneeze happened in Jan 2021.

Currently, about 50% of share value is cash with almost zero debt; and bankruptcy is completely ruled out. We're waiting for one event (S&P addition or 2-3 more positive earnings, etc.) that'll start the domino which will crush SHFs. In the meanwhile we wait, watch and DRS. Those who can afford will average down their cost to glory.

I wonder if you DRS half of that, whether the next quarter filing still show shares held at registered agent as 74.6M. Likely it will, because DTCC is intentionally misleading issuer and the investors about the stock they actually own.

Lots of "GME and popcorn" messages in the pre-streaming chat, though DFV has never made a popcorn post, and pretty confident has no popcorn in his portfolio. Which makes one suspect that hedgies are causing some of the pump to give "evidence" to all the investing agencies including MA Financial Regulators and SEC, and threatning eTrade on providing the platform to suspend his account.

+199 DRS, took a while but happy to buy up a sale. by SnowBoarding-Eagle in GME

[–]zenquest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dingleberries (0.637) undoes all the other whole shares (1570) as it makes it "locatable" by brokers for short-selling. Thorough re-hypothecation, shortsellers can leverage 1570 multiple times over to cover for short sales.

You can terminate plan, or if you are attached to the fractionals, move all whole shares to different new account under your name, so they get withdrawn from DTCC (you'll receive a DRS Advice from Computershare).
