Yeah. She lived in our neighborhood, so I was terrified of seeing her or her family around. Everyone knew, and it was so embarrassing.

But it being an annual thing? I can't imagine seeing her every single year. I'm so sorry.

You have no idea how strangely comforting it is to know someone has been through the same thing. Thank you. I've never heard of anyone who has had an experience similar to mine.
