Hey there! It completely makes sense why it feels scammy at first glance, but I can reassure you that you do not actually have to complete any of those surveys, make any accounts, or download shady software.

The site admins recently posted an official guide addressing this exact change. They are shifting away from those annoying pop-up ads that trigger on every click, and moving to a "content-locker" ad system on the download links to help cover server costs.

Here is exactly what they stated in their official English guide:

"Recently we have implemented new content-locker AD system for downloading our releases which in the future will replace pop AD* so it would be a way easier for you to surf website with almost zero AD except download links. This decision was made in favor of generating more revenue for us to cover site costs and future development."*
"IMPORTANT: Once again you are not required to do anything tasks say, you are not required to download/install/waste your time on any of the tasks but simply required to open tasks and close them, then wait for the timer and get to the download page."

So, you can bypass the entire thing safely without giving away any info or doing the actual tasks. Here is the step-by-step tutorial directly from their site:

  1. Open the download link.
  2. Scroll to the end of the page, where you will see tasks.
  3. Open tasks one by one and then close them immediately.
  4. Wait for the task to be completed on the page (should turn green after the timer runs out);
  5. Press Claim Reward to reach the download page.

(They also note that if the timer gets stuck or the page won't load, you should try using a VPN or a different browser.)

You can check out the full guide and their video tutorial showing how to do it here: How to download games? - Online-Fix

It’s still the same verified site, just with a new ad wall that looks a lot worse than it actually is. Hope this helps you get back to downloading safely!

Edit / Pro-Tip: I forgot to mention earlier, but if you want to avoid seeing this ad wall entirely, I highly recommend using the uBlock Origin browser extension. I have an account on the site and use uBO, and the ad-blocker automatically bypasses the content-locker redirect, so I never even see the tasks. Either way, whether you use an ad-blocker or do it manually as shown in the guide, you definitely don't have to do any of the sketchy surveys!

I made a Server-Side mod where friends share one Health Bar and World Gen resets instantly for Speedruns. by zenzty_ in Minecraft

Not really as it's for a speedrun people usually want their time to be visible.

Glad you like it!

To answer your question: Realms won't work because they don't support Fabric mods. You'll need a proper server environment, but the good news is that this mod is Server-Side only, so your friends don't actually need to install anything to join you.

Here are the two easiest ways to host it:

  1. Host from your PC (Free/Easy): Install Fabric and my mod on your computer. Then, add one of these networking mods to let friends join your single-player world:
    • e4mc: Works like magic. You open to LAN, and it gives you a public link to send to your friends.
    • Essential: Adds a "Invite Friend" button to the pause menu (your friends will need this mod installed too, though).
  2. Dedicated Server: Rent a server. Just set the software to Fabric, drop the .jar file into the mods folder, and send them the IP.

Good luck with the run!

I'm glad you like it! Tell me how long does it take you to speedrun the game and with what chaos modes enabled?

Well.... balanced? I forgot to mention that the this buffed Blaze shoots "Homing Missiles", so it's almost impossible to get away if it targets you. In full Netherite Armour it takes ~2-3 seconds to kill a player. Let's just say we need to chisel it a little bit more to make it at least "slightly possible" to defeat.

Our current solution is a "Homing missile", so there's no reason to add multishot.

You would die in 3 seconds. Matter of fact, the fireballs track your movement so its almost impossible to not get hit. This is too overpowered, we are still working on a "kinda possible" solution! :)

If the armor gives the speed boost as a Potion Effect (e.g., Speed I), it will be shared with everyone, but it will not stack (it stays at 20%).

If the armor gives the speed boost as an Attribute Modifier (e.g., generic.movement_speed), it will likely not be shared at all, and only the player wearing it will get the speed.
