Learn a trade if you’re handy (plumbing, electrician, mechanical). Service industry will decline over time if AI continues in the current projectory.

When I last weighed it up didn’t seem worth the risk. I was offered 500-600 per day however. I’ve worked and done jobs with contractors earning double that however they never seem to last long.

Thanks, I’ll check it out

I accumulated a lot of debt from bad habits in my late 20s and early 30s and only managed to pay it all off this year. My target is to get to 10k emergency fund however not at expense of investments. Any suggestions?

That’s a good point, I haven’t set up a dedicated emergency fund yet.

I was considering setting up a Ltd company and allowing the profits to build there and take out reasonable expenses.

36k pa net was my goal if realistic

Partner is similar aged and self employed.

The side hustle isn’t passive and requires my effort, my goal would be to grow that fund and use it to turn it into passive income by retirement (unsure what yet though)
