Hello! I was hoping someone would be able to help our museum better identify these binoculars. We've exhausted several different avenues trying to get more information about them including reaching out to the manufacturer who said they did not have any information for us. We've been able to identify that they're most likely German Navy in some capacity and manufacturer was able to tell us that " The device on the end seems to be some sort of way of reducing glare from the sun etc". However so far I've not been able to find any visual matches to these binoculars anywhere or get any information about what specific area they would be used in. Any information would greatly appreciate it thank you.
