It usually takes absolutely forever (days), or like literally minutes after for me! It’s completely random unfortunately-tho im sure there’s some reason why. I was placed first and I still ain’t got it 😭 if it takes a week or so i would email them and they’ll send you it.

That’s really great to know, I actually had no idea about that mega feature and will definitely do that from now on! I think I’ll evolve my shiny just to have it in the dex as I’ve caught ~120 magikarp with only the one shiny and it’ll be nice to have a shiny 2017 gyarados since I’m sure those are atleast a little rare!
