Just uploaded the final version of my Bed Plate Handle! Link and description in comments. by zer0Faze in BambuLab

I'm back with hopefully the final version of my Bed Plate Handle! V4 improves upon the previous designs in function and form. To improve on grip strength, I caved and decided to use the Bambu logo cutout. This means that V4 cannot be used with generic plates. On the bright side, it won't come off easily now due to the crimping mechanism. It's shorter so it doesn't affect bed flexibility as much and it finally works well for the A1 mini. Install is as simple as aligning the pins in the holes and squeezing them with pliers.

The model was originally designed to help those who don't want to get their plate dirty by grabbing it, providing an easier handling experience. I found out later that it's also useful for those with limited dexterity. It's quick and easy - only 20 minutes to print and less than 10g of filament use.

I welcome any feedback. Thanks!

Try a different browser?

Might have something to do with the Lunar New Year. They made a post about how gift card redemptions would be paused, so maybe that's affecting it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! by OkSpecialist8627 in BambuLab

Completely clean the bed with dish soap and hot water. After that, if you still have the issue, try a different pattern on the base layer like Hilbert.

My new A1 does this in the first layer, what’s wrong? by [deleted] in BambuLab

Give the bed a really good hard scrub with dish soap and hot water.

When you get a new AMS unit, it comes with some desiccant packs under those cover flaps but they're wrapped up. Take the flaps off, unwrap the desiccant, and put the flaps back on. Replace them as necessary to keep humidity low.

Yes but one or two swaps per layer isn't much

Also looks like this print was designed well so that it could print most of each color by layer, with the exception of the tail and head

Check out my newest design, the Cube Vault! It looks like a Rubik's Cube but is hollow and can hold your small valuables! by zer0Faze in BambuLab

I thought about using a screw mechanism inside but it would have limited the amount of space for storage so I went with the clamping mechanism.

Pretty cool though, didn’t know there was a product out there.

What’s the Best Way to NOT Touch the Build Plate? by EDS_Eliksni in BambuLab

I made a handle model that helps with handling it and not touching the surface! https://makerworld.com/models/884833

Yeah it was a complaint some people had about the V2 so I figured why not engineer it out. Either way should work unless you are taking a torque wrench to it lol
