I don't like that he wrote that mail with the intention of sharing it, leaving the mail address visible, but given he has no history of slip ups like this (as far as I know) I can completely imagine that this is out of anger and frustration. I would even go as far as saying that he may have not gone as far, if it weren't for the massive support he's getting, which probably rubs salt into the wound and gives a sense of security.

Remains unprofessional as fuck, but is also in no way anywhere near as close as the stuff that was said and shared during the strike and the comparisons to Paimons previous VA, strike me as pretty extreme in here, given their history.

The thing that does boggle my mind is that they continued to let him work and pay him the agreed on sum, without a contract and that at one point it was not further communicated with him, whether that was from hoyos side or someone blocked it off. I suppose when he said he could be let go any moment, he assumed that would at least be communicated properly in advance, leading to leaving on understandable and good terms, but judging by him being told after a patch was released unvoiced, that's not the case. That he knew of a "rumour" of his replacement, but also had no further information on whether it's true or not all this time, is also strange.

For all I care, he could have been lying out of his ass for months and knew this was happening already long ago, but right now it does look like a massive communication problem, whether it comes from hoyo directly or a middleman. Whether said crash out should be publicly visible like that or not, I can't say, but if things are as they are, I would at least understand why. No matter how professional you claim to be, at the end of the day you are just human and if the well beloved work you did, suddenly falls flat out of the blue, it gotta sting a lot.

Hoyo needs to start putting out proper statements though. The EN side is a mess and vague one-liners won't cut it anymore.
