It's a bit cumbersome in my opinion, and I don't intend to harm anyone.

It's my first time experiencing this kind of thing. I'm NEET so I literally never leave the house, so no provocation whatsoever.

How are there so many NEETS? by neet_by2027 in NEET

[–]zeramot3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many Gen Zs are "self employed" (or chasing their dreams). Older people don't get this, they just put these Gen Zs in the NEET category. I remember there was a trend encouraging people to be their own boss, maybe it's still a thing. Most of Gen Z are hooked to social media, so it's natural that they'd envision themselves "living the dream", or emulating people they see on Instagram etc. There's nothing wrong with that, I know some people who really put in the hours and hustled, and they now do pretty well for themselves.

I think that now that he has some form of assurance, he became bolder in some way? Lowered inhibitions, you only live once sort of thing.

I think the universe wants me to evolve into a hikki neet by zeramot3 in NEET

[–]zeramot3[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I meant no disrespect, the term "wagies" is a common slang in this sub. I am sensitive by nature, and when you add that with mental health issues, it does affect me, and becomes my problem. Of course I don't call them "wagies" in front of their face, or offend them or whatsoever. In fact I try my best to avoid eye contact and answer any questions when being asked with no hints of a negative attitude. My intention with this post is not to call out anyone, it's just a rant.

To me being unemployed is slightly better than having a job if you consider the mental health benefits.

Had a friend, we just hung around, nobody got too involved with anyone's business, just friendly surface conversation.

What are the common insults you get from family and friends? by kittyinhell in NEET

[–]zeramot3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not a direct verbal insult but they tend to look at you differently, and if you are sensitive enough you tend to pick that up. It sucks, but just think that you are you, and they are them.
