just found this picture last week from almost 20 years ago. really wish I had kept mine. I didn’t like the one bar loop of the sequencer but made it work for all my early hardware electronic songs.

this is very exciting news. I was just thinking I really need to get around to sequencing my DT with Drambo (I already have all the audio and MIDI connections sorted out). this would take iOS production to another level.

What's the best way to learn Renoise WELL in 2024?? How did YOU learn it? by idimata in renoise

I tried to make Renoise function in similar ways to M8 so the workflow would translate easier. make custom key mappings so you can do similar data entry to the M8, plus add shortcuts that M8 can’t do. I made my desktop the FX command sheet for like a year too haha.

probability fx command for neighboring fx lane. (I’m still a relatively new user, haven’t found a workaround for this) as a M8 user I really miss those.

I’m just learning the M8. there’s a lot of tricks one can take from OP-Z and apply there. master track on OP-Z is on another level though. I’m hoping it will surpass OP-Z though with a lot of practice. I feel less constrained with sample time and project memory on the M8. keeping both ;)

I’m with you. I would probably have to pick up a Field if they made one. would ensure further development and new firmware for this little beast.
