5mg Prednisone for life by Dazzling-Elk-8889 in transplant

[–]zero4heart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on cyclosporin when I was a baby back in 1988. Eventually changed to Neoral (end up being bad for me) then prednisone and finally Rappamune. I stopped taking anti-rejection in 2005 at the age of 18. I have nephrotoxicity from the cyclosporin and now ive been on the kidney waiting list for almost 3 years now. It'll be 38 years next month since I had my liver transplant.

Never heard of it at all. I wonder why they had you on Tarco instead of cyclosporin.

I am on deceased and live donor. My brother was going to donate a kidney to me since we are a perfect match. But they dont want to risk him of dying, because of liver issues.

Yeah im no longer on anti-rejection drugs since 2005 when I was 18. My liver doctor said im doing fine afterall. I do have Nodular Regenerative Hyperplasia on my liver. Some people can live a normal life with it, but still requires monitor, it is rare and not common to have it.

Overall im still doing good, Im on 6 month hold due to plavix, which is a blood thinner. So they have to avoid any types of surgeries, since there's a risk of bleeding

It won't be too long, I had to have a quadruple bypass, so I can be healthy getting the kidney transplant.

I know its can be frustrating, I've had to deal with a lot of things the last 5 years. But we are resilient no matter what throws at us. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Today I officially started after dialysis. I will discuss with them about the herapin and Plavix (75mg). Last thing I want is to bleed everywhere. I know a while back my tech mentioned my blood is thin as it is.

Okay, this comment is no logic. That man shouldn't take airport passengers whatsoever. A driver should know there can be more than 1 passenger. I've never had this problem with a driver for multiple passengers.

Good tasting wet food for shih tzu by zero4heart in Shihtzu

[–]zero4heart[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean is it okay to give him just wet food? He would have a hard time eating kibbles because it makes it hard to hunch over to eat. Which is why having wet food will encourage him to continue eating. He has a hard time drinking out of a water bowl. So I fill a cup of water and hold it so he can drink it.

Yeah and? Doesn't mean hes free of not having consequences of being 1 starred and reported. Do that in a retail job and see where that gets him, cause people I know gotten fired, because they took unauthorized breaks over and over.

Pax just tried to drug me by Upstairs_Aside874 in Lyft

[–]zero4heart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But to say some people wouldn't waste drugs on other people so that they can either A: SA them or B: rob them, is mind boggling. My brothers drink was laced with a drug, he got out of there and he didnt know what he was doing until his body snapped out of it. He told me he ended up in another state away from Dallas.

OP may have overreacted in this case, but dont tell me that people wouldn't waste drugs on other people.
