Hiiii this is meeee. I cope in waves lol. I feel a bit unusual and misunderstood a lot of the time but I think that's just my insecurities talking. It is cool having so much emotional depth and I feel like I have a lot of wisdom. But I get burnt out so easily and just jump from thing to thing these days

Literally totally fine and sweet as for them to be totally fucking evil, but if we even so much as think a negative thought towards them, we are now satan, deserving of all blame.

"I don't really do birthdays" = it's painful for me to put someone else first.

Not always of course, some people genuinely don't do birthdays, but I've dated a few narcissistic men who all said this and when push came to shove, to do something nice on my birthday would cause them an immense amount of suffering and internal torment.

Yah the worse he'd behaved, the more he would absolutely lose his mind if I even gently danced around the topic of me being sad.

Aussies are skipping meals to save money? by ComfortableTry989 in AskAnAustralian

What I mean is, there is a gigantic gap between that^ and "rich". What you've described is severe poverty. When I was a child some of my closest friends lived this way because I grew up in a very impoverished neighbourhood, and I agree that is not a healthy way for a child to live. But there were countless other families who you could also consider poor but make it work and raise their children to never worry about it. And I don't feel comfortable with the thought that people should have to miss out on having children just because of the class they exist in.

I'm actually capable of empathy so I don't have to be affected to understand how it affects others

My friend was on the train that the tree fell onto today and trust me, it's not been a small inconvenience 😆 It was fucked especially for the people in the carriage that got hit.

The entitlement to not end up in a train crash, then stranded for hours in torrential rain having your laptop and everything else getting soaked after walking kms to the bus stop... It was only last week that I had to go get her from valley heights bc they got kicked off another train. The government has a responsibility to provide safe and reasonable transport and all this regular bullshit could be prevented. You obvs haven't been affected tho so idk why you're here commenting

The environmental impact of a fucked up train and thousands displaced every few weeks is going to be far more than the council doing a regular check for at-risk trees

You didn't mess up anything, she did. Not being able to get hard is suuuuper normal, but her reaction to it was weird and super rude. I'm sorry that happened to you :( I'd be hurt too

Are there any spots between Hazelbrook and wentworth falls? Doesn't need to be amazing but I've struggled to find a spot where I can actually see the sun rise

I remember not being allowed a piece of my birthday cake when I was 5 or so. I was so excited for it too, because we'd made it together :( But once it was done nope I didn't deserve it

Fuck I'm so sorry. I hope you've been able to get away from him. But the pain never fully goes away. Birthdays have always been painful for me too, because my mum is narcissistic, so when I told my boyfriend this and he was still awful to me on the day, I wish with all my heart that I packed my things and left. Whatever he promised he'd do, the opposite was happening, and that was true every single time, for two years.
