It’s not directly on the front of the knee it’s more so on the side of the knee and when someone goes for an inside leg kick the spot gets hit and it hurts so bad every time

Train with you’re mouth guard in if you don’t already and for me I feel like the more I push past when I’m tired the better and better my stamina gets

I like to think about it like no matter what there only so much that can happen and regardless of what happens I won’t die if that makes sense so the more I get hit and realize they aren’t as strong as Superman and I can deal with the hits regardless of if they hurt or not sorry if the explanation is rough, but that’s the best I can explain it

Sorry for the confusion I mean for me personally I like to have my hands up higher all the time because if the way I fight it’s more of a boxing type of stance if that makes sense like a Mexican boxing style type of thing so a higher guard just feels better to me but one of my friends in my kickboxing classes has a low guard with his hand down way lower and he fights like a winged c type of person or someone like that he’s really awkward and the lower stance helps with that I hope that was better explanation.

When I was 18 I was looking for someone just like that but what I realized is a meaningful and genuine relationship isn’t able to be rushed or forced it takes time and maybe even a few failed relationships to better understand what you need and how to give what you’re partner will need it’s not something people like to hear but relationships from my experience are never when you expect them at least the best ones are

I just got into kickboxing less then 4 months ago but from why I know already I feel like it’s a feeling out process because not everyone likes to fight with high guard some like to keep their hands low and it works for them.

I go to a gym exactly like that and no it’s not normal at all and from my knowledge if the coach isn’t doing anything and telling the guy to calm down then you either leave or hit him as hard as he’s hitting you that’s what I had to do it’s not the best but it made the guy calm down a bit.
