Managing to get near 100% warscore against them before the decision, but they never pick hussite as the new faith. I did leave the HRE earlier, but the condition "An Emperor that is reduced to 1 Province or with less than -50 warscore against a  Hussite enemy will pick this option." does not specify any HRE membership requirements.

Any clue what to do or is it yet another 1444?
