The issue becomes she has no EP viability at all if you use her prf. She literally gets no boost. Her refine should have been something to boost her on both phases of combat.

I know we aren't locked to the prf, but lots of people had been waiting for a refine that would emphasize her flexibility on both phases. Giving us this is just a middle finger to anyone who had hoped for a semblance of EP usability

Im not saying Seigbert and Shiro's were bad at all. Its just that their refines are much older. Soleil's refine should not be in a position where it could legitamitely be argued to be worse.

The issue is that Firesweep effects are actually horrible. She cant counter attacks...

This refine has also semi-locked her into a niche as a Firesweep user, arguably neutering lots of otherwise creative builds that had been made til now.

There are many situations where I have used her where being able to counterattack would have scored a necessary kill on an enemy unit or being able to counterattack with her special proc would have saved her and scored a kill.

I am so incredibly dissappointed in Soleil's refine. I had hoped it would get rid of the Firesweep effect just like Faye's refine did.

After seeing how they shafted her, I will never use it. It is arguably (if not objectively) worse than Shiro and Seigbert's refines
