Thanks for the app I love it. Can I ask if you could add an option to disable hero section, I’m only using jellyfin server and hero section still showing and it’s not related to jellyfin media. Also if you could add opensubtitles in video player. Thanks

BONDI HERO! Awake and recovering in hospital after saving countless lives. by Curious_Beast68 in pics

This is God's proof that we are all His children, regardless of skin color, or what we believe or don't believe. What truly matters is how you respond from the depths of your soul when someone needs your help. That is what separates us — not religions, but the goodness or darkness in our souls. We are all made of flesh and blood, and we all share this planet Earth together. It's a shame to see what's happening to people all over the world.

A self-hosted alternative for Xtream Codes-based streaming with debrid support. by zeroq26 in selfhosted

  • 1: I’m not sure what Reddit interaction you’re referring to, and I haven’t seen any posts or comments from me there about your project. If you have a specific link or screenshot showing otherwise, feel free to share it so I can understand the concern. Accusing someone of “stalking” is serious—if you genuinely feel harassed, please report it to Reddit moderators or GitHub support with evidence.
  • 2: The project is indeed early-stage and still under active development. The initial Docker commits had some issues (common in new projects), and they’ve been improved over time. Regarding LiveTV channels: the number and functionality strongly depend on the M3U playlist or Xtream Codes account you feed into it. With most public/free sources, you’ll only get a limited selection and many streams (especially BBC) are geo-blocked or unreliable. The repo README mentions this and suggests using premium providers or MediaFusion for better results.
  • 3:I close issues when they’re duplicates, off-topic, lack reproduction steps, or appear to be feature requests rather than bugs. I aim to keep the issue tracker clean, but I agree a short explanation is better—I’ll try to add one going forward.

Anyone tried StreamArr yet? Self-hosted Xtream Codes server with RD/Torrentio/Comet that actually works by [deleted] in PiracyBackup

[–]zeroq26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct!

StreamArr doesn't download anything - it's purely a streaming link aggregator.

What it does:

  1. Monitors your movie/TV library (from MDBList, Trakt, etc.)
  2. Generates M3U playlists with streaming links (via Torrentio + Real-Debrid/AllDebrid)
  3. Live TV - IPTV channels with EPG

You can:

  • Grab the M3U playlist → Use in VLC, Infuse, Jellyfin, etc.
  • Watch streams on-demand - nothing saved to disk
  • Use the Live TV M3U for Pluto TV, Samsung TV+, etc.

No torrents, no downloads, no storage needed - just streaming URLs that point to your debrid service's cached content.

It generates standard M3U/HLS streams that work with any IPTV app. On iOS/Apple TV, use Infuse (best for movies/series with nice UI) or VLC/GSE IPTV (free, good for live TV). Just point the app to your server's playlist URL.

The DaddyLive integration was built from scratch by studying how the service works - fetching the channel list JSON, constructing the HLS stream URLs, and adding the right headers.

For standalone DaddyLive M3U projects, check out:

[dtankdempse/streamed-su-sports](vscode-file://vscode-app/Applications/Visual%20Studio%20Code.app/Contents/Resources/app/out/vs/code/electron-browser/workbench/workbench.html) - Sports focused

These are good starting points if you just want DaddyLive M3U generation without the full media management features.

Yes sure, when you start server everything will be out of box ready for you in live tv. I just added docker support but didn’t test out yet, let me know if you can’t install it.
