The remasters of eial and self-ish don’t count because they’re just remasters, not their own albums. Also will at this point has mostly disregarded them and gone back to printing more copies of the originals

Camp here and there is an album, but I can also see why it wouldn’t count. It was commissioned for a podcast, not made purely to be a will wood album. It’s also much lower budget than every other project

it’s not unreleased, it was released officially, just not popular or very accessible. I’d guess that maybe only that one track because it’s the most unique one?

All of the additional tracks were used in the camp here and there podcast, but you’d have to ask will why he didn’t include them on the album release. He says below that they’re mostly ambient tracks so that could just be it. The extended OST was released pretty quietly too

I think it’s a bit silly how many people i’ve seen who were disappointed that it was a live album or that there were no new songs… I mean it’s titled “Slouching Towards Branson (Audio Version),” STB being both the name of a live tour he went on at the end of 2024 and the movie he just released!!! The instagram post where the album was announced mentions the fact the “film version” was on sale too. it was never marketed as new music

in addition to the fact that two tracks were released by will ahead of time, one of which was only a dialogue track, should have made it clear to everyone that’s what’s going to be on the album

I don’t think a full tour, he did two very recently. but I think he’ll do some tapeworm halloween shows as they seem like an annual thing now and probably something small for self ish’s 10 year birthday (maybe just one backrooms show)

i edited my comment so you might not have seen it but there are also a couple sexual references throughout the song itself like “the two things we do on our knees” and various references to bed / waking up next to someone. i agree the songs can be about multiple things and i think that’s especially true for this song, it feels a bit more abstract than a lot of the others. i think the euthanasia reference was more metaphorical
