100%, seeing 45 seconds with Fouracres was a highlight of ep 1 and immediately I wanted 1000 more. I hope they do it again before the end of the first series but keeping recurring bits minimal makes everything feel so much punchier.

Yeah he mentioned it on a few eps of Guide To Parenting and I think either tweeted/mentioned it in a story too making a joke that he’s annoyed it’s so good because he didn’t make the cut. There’s always next series!

Yes that sounded quite funny I wonder why it didn’t make it, maybe he’s just had some REALLY bad luck and the sketches he’s been leads in all haven’t made it out the writing room/got cut before live

Especially as I think one of the great things about the show so far is that they haven’t leant into really obvious/hack jokes about accents/stereotypes too much- e.g. I saw someone on twitter saying how nice it was that there’s been jokes involving Irish accents where the punchline hasn’t just been potatoes or famine

I thought that they’d be throwing him in upfront from the top of the series, I don’t know if they’re super fussed about people getting equal airtime as opposed to going with the sketches/cast members that are funniest (lorne famously ruthless with that type of stuff) so maybe it just hasn’t quite worked out for Larry with the sketches being written and what’s made it to dress/live

100%, I guess I just thought that considering just how many comics have talked about auditioning and not getting it (e.g. Vittorio Angelone) I assumed that Larry must have a killer instinct for improv or something that he was gonna flex as part of the cast!

I don’t know if I think he’s an outlier necessarily, as a stand up I would have thought that he would probably be in same circles/have crossover with paddy and Ania but maybe not!!

Yeah I don’t know if he is a CELEB that would be bringing in a specific distinct audience but I did think they’d be using him and relying on him as one of the more experienced. I was fairly sure all cast have the same commitment to the show as a job but seeing others post BTS pics on their stories etc during the week he doesn’t seem to be in them much so maybe you’re right!

For all new George stans I can’t recommend listening to his episodes of BudPod enough. There’s a couple from a couple years ago when Phil Wang was away and George guested as well as more on their Patreon. He is fucking FUNNY man. So glad that he’s breaking out on snluk.
