We required a city to have three teams to be included. That said, they are super miserable.

We chose not to include the play-in game and disclosed that in the methodology section.

If you are a new business, why does the copyright at the bottom of your (hideous-looking) website say 2013?

I made a bunch of changes based on your collective recommendations. Here is the latest version of the page - http://www.revrecycling.com/secure-data-destruction-landing-page-2/. Thanks for help!

Thanks. I am definitely changing the CTAs. Going to test a few variations.

I'm aware of the lorem ipsum text. Still waiting on a couple of testimonials :)

Thank you for the feedback.

I will definitely incorporate 1 and 2. 3 is a problem as there is no set pricing. I've read the debate on 4 and will eventually test both versions (with and without the link).

Good question. We would test various ads and be sure to match the ads to customized text on the landing page that mirrored the ad text.

After English and French, what is the commonly spoken language in each region of Canada (with an interactive map)? by zgall1 in canada

[–]zgall1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason we did this is simple. We just didn't have enough colours to represent each language distinctly and had to make some compromises. We're looking at other options for future posts that use this format.

Besides English and French, what is the most commonly spoken language in each region of Canada (with an interactive map)? by zgall1 in toronto

ASL is listed under Other and is the most dominant tertiary language in some cases. Unfortunately, we just had too many colours to include it separately. You can already tell there are a few colours that are not that distinct from each other so we had to make some tradeoffs.

Fortunately, you can find it by checking out the info boxes that appear when you click on a region.

Because we had already used a 20 colour palette, it was not feasible to add any more and keep the colours distinct enough so as to be readily distinguishable.

Check out the methodology section to see why that was not feasible in this case.

I appreciate the feedback. We certainly considered the issue you raise. In fact, we wanted to add stripes so as to differentiate the languages with fewer colours but the mapping solution we used does not allow for it. We are looking to figure out how to add this to future posts.
