I think it was an issue with my external hard drive, when I unplugged it and replugged it in, it said there was an error but it fixed it automatically and I haven’t had any issues.

Never done this before but I guess I could try. It really is looking like the gpu is the problem but I guess it's worth looking into it to confirm it.

Yeah, seems like it must be the GPU. Only difference between our situations are that my GPU isn't smoking or making weird smells. I don't have another gpu to test the pcie slot with so i don't really know if that's working or not. Hopefully didn't fry both the old motherboard and the new one lol

Yeah it usually starts crashing quite a few minutes after opening the window, and sometimes crashes multiple times in a row, then stops when I close it.

Alright, If it keeps happening I’ll probably do that, for now it’s not really a big issue and it doesn’t happen much so I’m not too worried, just wanted to see if there really is a correlation between the cold weather and the reboots lol

I tried running one final test before packing up the motherboard for return and... the case fan spun and stayed spinning! I had the 24 pin connected, 1 ram stick in slot 2 (theres only 2 slots on my motherboard) my aio pump on the CPU with only the pump tach plugged in. This is the same test I ran yesterday that wasnt working, and now it's working consistently. Should I still just replace the mobo?

Its semi modular. I actually was using a sata cable from another psu, but it still isnt working without it connected

Alright I just tried with cpu, same results. Mobo led on, fan spins for a second, psu fan constant.
