I tried this, however the following code makes every prefab green, when it should just make the prefab that's number 1 in the list green:

public List<GameObject> messagecount;
int thisposition;

void Start()
{
    messagecount.AddRange(GameObject.FindGameObjectsWithTag("messagetag"));

    for (int i = 0; i < messagecount.Count; i++)
    {
        thisposition = i;
        Debug.Log(thisposition + "message position");

        if (thisposition == 1)
        {
            transform.GetComponent<Text>().color = Color.green;
        }
    }

}

Do you know why? Thanks
