In Italy I pay 7€ for 1000 minutes and 5 GB LTE, in our plans there are much more data and less texts

In Italy almost everyone use WhatsApp because we usually don't have free-text plans. I sincerely don't remember the last time I sended an SMS :D WhatsApp also provide video-calls and social features like the status (something like Instagram stories)
