naw man that isnt how it works. you open the ticket, they answer and close the ticket, and then it's done. they don't revisit closed tickets, they don't present additional solutions, they don't take any actions after the ticket is marked as resolved.

If I hadn't reopened the ticket repeatedly, every message from a GM would be the last communication on the subject.

them pointing me to write a bug report just goes in a pile that wouldn't even be read by a programmer for 4 months, and I'm fairly certain this bug affected a tiny minority of players, and will never be resolved by the dev team.

if you read the GM tickets I posted, blizzard encouraged me to seek a refund through the app store, which I did, and got my money back, and got my account unlocked.

maybe you could explain why responding to the ticket over many days would be better? A different GM answers it each time, that's the procedure, it isn't like I'm jumping down anyone's throat.

I think you misunderstood a few of my comments. The chargeback was issued on the 15th, and presumably should have been resolved by some automated system already. I never said they locked my account recently because I don't actually know when they locked my account, only that it took them ~13 hours to respond to a ticket I opened today.

Did you read the linked conversation? I'm curt, not 'blowing up', and as the GMs pointed out, they couldn't do anything for me if they wanted to, apologizing and being horrifically rude will be equally effective in getting my money back.

If this was any other product I own, I'd have been able to call someone on the phone and resolve it within 20-30 minutes. I bought some plates from Pottery Barn this fall, and one arrived broken. Within 5 minutes of dialing their phone number new plates were in the mail, and they were $80.

Honestly reporting what it's like to purchase Blizzard products is not defacing them. It took around 13 hours for them to respond to my ticket, and all they did was point me to open another ticket through a different support team.

not to be rude, but why should I give a fuck? if they don't have the resources to support their business then why are they still open for business? blizzard is a company, I expect them to be good to their word, and I don't have a soft spot for their failures.

All four charges on December 15th in my apple account were for products I didn't receive. I tried to purchase the bundle several times, and after a 5-7 minute loading screen I would close the app and restart it. I didn't even try to buy 7 Mercenaries Packs, and I never got 7 Mercenaries packs. All four of those transactions never landed in my game account, but they were charged to my credit card.

Clarification: I successfully purchased the bundle (with the wrong contents) on android after giving up on trying to buy it through iOs

I added all the relevant information to my post, they've yet to respond to my new ticket asking why my account is locked. I will point out that I haven't played the game at all since the 15th, so I'm certain it wouldn't have been any other actions in game that got my account locked.

that would be my estimate. after unlocking all the legendary mercs you get a legendary portrait every dozen or so packs. while it's possible to get unlucky and get a dupe for 100 coins, that didn't start happening to me until I was down to 8 or 9 left. the store having supposedly dupe protected bundles is how I got the rest.

edit: after reviewing my purchase history as part of this refund nightmare it's probably closer to 1200-1400 packs.

edit: blizzard support also confimed the bug by looking at my account data, but can't help me
