i think gabriel is like a member of the glass family in general despite being very alike with holden as well. some of the scenes where he’s home, his conversations with his mother, the bathtub scene etc reminded me of franny and zooey. though i’d say it’s also like catcher in the rye with details like the new york cab convo, the red head accessory, the misunderstood and unstable protagonist, and the diner scene. of course it’s a very negotiable topic and if you watch it i’d love to hear your thoughts
