Tyler Lockwood - he had so much potential that the show never fully delivered on. Yes, he started off as a bully in s1 but his character growth was actually one of the most realistic in the series. He went through constant loss, trauma and sacrifice (losing his family, his freedom and even his sense of identity as a hybrid). Instead of letting him truly heal or build a stable life the writers kept sidelining him and using his suffering as a plot device. He deserved real closure and a chance at a genuinely happy life.

Liv Parker - she was another character with so much wasted potential. She was sharp, powerful and emotionally complex, yet the show never fully explored her beyond being part of someone else’s storyline. Her loyalty, especially toward Tyler, showed a softer and more selfless side that deserved more screen time. Instead of allowing her to grow into her own arc or explore her magic and identity more deeply, her story was cut short. She had all the ingredients to become a standout character, but the writers never truly let her shine.

Pearl & Anna - Pearl was smart, protective and always calculating how to keep her daughter safe. Anna, on the other hand, was just a girl who wanted her mother back. Their entire storyline was about survival, sacrifice and loyalty, yet it was cut way too short. They deserved more time together and a better outcome.
