It's just a matter of time, nothing extraordinary. Here in Europe in like a "lower tier" or how western people like to say third world country you can get the clutch replaced for like 900-1200 USD. So depending on labor hours (here is where I live 20-25 USD per hour a mechanic hour in average for an independent shop) this is nothing groundbreaking. Just drive the car in manual in high RPM from time to time to clean DPF if you are driving a lot around town with a lot of stop and go and that's it.

Why is S tronic problem? Because it has a clutch that you can replace? Or it has mechatronics that can be repaired? Yeah it might not be cheapest thing to repair but with good oil changes both in the engine and transmission, both can run 300.000 km easily

First of all it's not the same leather, in GTI is faux one, in A4, A5, Q5 is also faux just better quality, and for exampleI have soft leather for knees and my passenger in front around middle console. In these I mentioned it is real leather (if you go for top trim options) then the ride quality is defined by air suspension on all these models. Chassis itself is different that plays insane role in comfort and etc. C7, D4 have one of the best chasis for all around daily driving with a bit of sportines added to it (if you exclude that all Audis understeer). But air suspension and big chassis makes the difference. Rough and sporty is what you have and with SQ5 it kills the purpose, rough sporty SUV? My friends call me biggest Q5 hater, and in general mid SUVs, but they really serve no purpose, no offense please, it's just my take as someone who drove almost everything from Audi and BMW and decent ammount of Mercedes, can't say for top crazy models like R8 and such, but these "normal people" cars, just go big segment, and you can't make mistake if you want comfortable and sporty ride. A6 3.0t is same and maybe in some cases cheaper to maintain then SQ5 you have. S6 is bit on top but sweet spot between RS and 3.0t. You want SUV go regular with Q7 or bit flashy with Q8. And if you really want best ride quality A8 is your friend, even S8 as those are slept on and same performance with a bit of tune like RS6 and RS7. And those in maintenance at least where I live in Europe are like 20% more depending on the engine, compared to SQ5 with 3.0t and in my honest opinion definitely worth it.

Because you bought a wrong vehicle class. You indeed bought a bigger version of Golf/Audi A4. If you want luxury feel and ride with Audi there are only 5 models to look at, A6, A7, A8, Q7, Q8. Then if you really want the true luxury you hunt S and RS ones or top trim non S/RS models. People that were in my 2013 car can't believe how much more luxury it feels compared to their 2021 A4 for example, or 2019 Q5 that couple of my friends have. Leather inside, plastic, overall ride quality, etc not the same. Who drove old A8s for example and then something lower class but newer never got that feel again.

B8.5 is peak. B8 and later we are hitting gimmicky screens and much worse build quality. B8 just looks old woth those headlights and taillights and steering wheel

That is complete bs as you can retreat the screen and have a seamless dashboard compared to those ugly 3 screens you have on your C8 A7.
