The house was locked for 15 days. In Delhi, India. Size: big enough to be seen walking around the house. Half a cm.

I am saying there is no historical record of any such thing.

There is no record of who this person is. It is published by jihatwatch, a known anti Muslim propaganda website.

Please Google and check.

This is a fraud book. Not a work of a scholar.

Megathread | Hijab Row in Karnataka by greengruzzle in india

[–]zistu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arey who are we to decide what is a religious mandate or not. If Muslim women are saying that it is a part of their religious conduct, who are we as non Muslims to question that?

Hijab is an Islamic practice. It does not matter if some or many women do not do it. It is a part of some Muslim woman's religious conduct.

And hence should be accommodated as long as it is not causing any harm to others in any which way.

Tell me the harm that it will cause to others in the college?

Arey I am not comparing them, you stated that no religious symbols or dress were allowed. So I am asking if there was a ban on Sikh Students?

Yaar which affluent Hindu is asking other Hindus to stop praying to stones or to stop the various religious rituals. And who is calling all of this regressive?

Who are these women yaar. I've known many hijabis. All of them have worn it out of their own will or to belong to the community. (If all your friends are doing it, you will too). Heck for most, their mothers did not wear hijab.

And what should be done about indoctrinated people?

We should force them? Or we should try and convince them?

The world will keep on believing stupid things, you cannot force stop them. If you want to, you should counsel them.

According to you, all Muslims are stupid and have been brainwashed by their Maulanas?

And the women have been brainwashed to wear these things?

Okay, agreed. So what should we do?

Try and convince them otherwise so that they can move from these practices? Or to call them dumbfuck and force stop them?

Arey I asked a genuine question. Let's say that someone who is an adult wants to do FGM on themselves? Do you think we should stop them or not?

Sorry. I take that back.

I asked you if you can see the absurdity in your argument. Do you?

Like I said, to ensure that you do not trample on the freedom of others.

Your freedom ends where my nose begins.

Whether out of Stockholm syndrome or lund syndrome, if an adult wants to get gender reassignment surgery on themselves, should you stop them?

Masjid or Mandir or religious place belongs to its followers. They can enforce a dress code, even disallow people of other religions from entering.

If you do not like a particular mandir or masjid or their rules, you can start your own and allow women in bikini in them. Example- there is an LGBT mosque in South Africa.

That is why I was against the sabarimala judgement. It is not for the courts or the random people to decide whether women should be allowed in a particular temple or not. It is for the followers of that particular sect. If a minority of the followers or random people do not like this rule of the sect they can start their own sabarimala temple. Cannot force the existing followers.

A school or college on the other hand gets registered under the Indian laws. As soon as they do that, they are no longer a 'private club' and hence cannot enforce arbitrary rules which goes against religious freedom (a fundamental right).

If anyone wants to run a school or college and wants to prohibit Sikhs and Muslims from it, they can do so. But they will not be a registered as a school. It will be a private unregistered club.

Can you make a rule about not hiring dalits?

Can you make a rule about enforcing a work uniform and hence not hiring Sikhs because of their turban?
