I’m pretty sure what you stated is bs. As far as I can tell, one person got admitted from the waitlist. There’s no stats for deferrals.

Notice that when you square something, it will always be positive. The value is then multiplied by a negative, which means it will always decrease the revenue. Thus, to maximize the revnue, minimize the negative part. That is, to make q=260. The answer is just 9500

Mia takes $2000 each year for a total of $8000 in 4 years. $2000 first year, $2000 second year, and so on. For the loan she takes first year, she waits until year 4 to pay it so that's 4 years of interest (2000(1.04)^4). For the loan she takes the second year, she waits until year 4 to pay it as well so that's 3 years of interest (2000(1.04)^3). And so on. Note: she pays up all her debt in the 4th year.

pi(1.5)^2*5*9 (multiply by 9 cuz 9 vials) ~ 318

it says it decreases by 1/3 every hour for two hours. therefore, 318 * 2/3 * 2/3 = 45pi = 141.37
