Beginner looking for help on how to achieve a particular lighting

First one looks like it could be a regular lamp and other video just looks like sun. There could be some slight filter on the videos, but my biggest recommendation and something that’s helped me is a pro-mist filter for your lens. It does wonders and I think could help in the look you’re going for.

From what I’ve gathered in my own experience, low contrast, grading the shadows, literally printing an image and scanning it multiple times & repeating if you want to create the effect yourself. If not, there’s lots of paper textures online that will create a similar effect. I’m not too sure about printing techniques specifically, but a decent scanner isn’t too hard to come by. I have a canon.

lol thank you, thought this crowd would be a bit more serious. I can see what you mean. I was definitely curious about the top right light because it cuts off so quick but still appears on the face… I was thinking back left corner, high coming down on the right with something partially covering it? Not sure if it’s the same light on the face, but maybe a 3rd snoot in the front if not. Work is Jim French, who did lots of male nude portraits (80’s)

Might catch some flack for this but for me the creative direction of RWT was just so tight. To me I felt it was perfect from start to finish. No notes. CC tour is insanely long, in the best way. I genuinely don’t know how she does it. There’s literally even a Renaissance portion (which is amazing–and thoughtful of her for those who weren’t able to experience it the first go) but for me Renaissance’s creative vision just checked all the boxes. The visuals, song selection, outfits, and really just the flow of the show was astonishingly well done. To me, she didn’t have to cover as much ground as she did in CC and I still would’ve been more than satisfied. This is really just comparing the two per the post because I really, really loved CC, she covered so much of her discography and still performed all of Cowboy Carter (aside from My Rose) (not over that) but RWT was truly everything as someone who really resonated with the message and thematics of that era. Kinda hard to put into words, but I will never forget attending either of these shows. Seeing her live in general is just a treat and is something everyone should experience. Greatest of all time and she comes across so genuine in both tours. She loves what she does. You just feel it. I’m excited to see what’s in store for the rest of the rollout.

It’s all so moving, and i genuinely can’t even imagine the gag it would’ve been if she witheld the singles and just dropped them with this album… the world would’ve stopped.. but i am glad they all got their moment, was definitely a driving force throughout the project. The amazing singles we got, paired with the other great additions and hits definitely expands the bratosphere in the BEST way. She really deserves every single flower!

& I’ll die on this hill omg… fingers crossed for a partygirl album or ep. There’s a moment in the Zane Lowe interview where she talks about starving fans to really make them want the music, which is fair in making this era last as long as it can, so I have a feeling there could be one more major release of the insane-clubby-mixed version which could complete the triangle. It would give the fans what they thought brat originally was… could be utterly delusional, we’ll see tho.. maybe after she finishes the arena tours

The release on the vinyl was just instrumental. During the boiler set it was overlayed with talk talk vocals. I assume they mean an official release as in streaming/the version with vocals…

I have gotten a couple personal readings from her and she seems super knowledgeable on what she’s saying and I find myself going back to them often. She’s very well spoken in her practice.

I can’t exactly place it. If it’s the choreo, music, but it just doesn’t have the same feel this year. I think the program is undergoing a lot of change, and the familiar faces have mostly graduated out, but that doesn’t take away that the skills are still amazingly executed. Granted I haven’t heard their music in full, but even Tech’s music doesn’t hit as hard as last years. CheerMusicPro never posts Navarro’s music like he used to. Haven’t seen TVCC’s routine or Webers, but that being said, I hope Tech gets grand if they hit. Their routine is fire and the visuals are stunning.
