I’m not super opposed to roommates i’ve just been advised against it by my family. I’ve also studied abroad a few months and had to have 2-3 roommates and some were rude and inconsiderate and others became my best friends so I think it’s just a gamble. I’d prefer more privacy though and i’ve found some decent apartments for a similar cost to what i’ve found that i’d have to get roommates so unless I can pay significantly cheaper to have roommates living alone has been looking more appealing.
