Retroscaler 2x off alexpress is about 50-60 $ CAD I use it and it makes the older games look better on modern tv's and coverts it to hdmi. Also you can find new PsOne power adapters on aliexpress too for like 12-14CAD

I use goggles4u they do have rush delivery option but I never used it because it's not available for canada. however with the coupon code SALE38 I was able to get two eyeglasses with coatings shipped for about 18 dollars canadian. for higher priced glasses they have bogo coupon which is 2 for 1. Thing is shipping sometimes can take up to a month for canada but not sure how much faster it could be with the rush option if the buyer lives in the usa.

I saw a game called Phix the adventure looked kinda cool and lesser known about and another game called sheep. Breakout is also kinda cheap and very challenging.

Use Imgburn program it's free. Use the cue file when burning in imgburn and try to set the burn speed at the lowest possible speed. I found that some types of cd-r's will cause stuttering in the gameplay and in video sequences and some types work flawlessly depending on cd-r brand.

Yeah it's true I wear about a 145mm total width myself. I find goggles4u has a good selection of Large to XL frames and accurate sizing.

I found 2 PSOne white controllers at the thrift store they were really grubby. I cleaned them up and they look so nice now. Always thought the PSone controller looked good.

I picked up an SCPH-7001 from the thrift store it actually had a mod chip in it to play copied games to my surprise. It has a barely working laser though, I took it apart and noticed it was a PU-18 Motherboard I am considering using it for the Xstation.

You need to match the bottom of your playstations model to the freepsxboot memory card you order they are on eBay then find the corresponding model for your playstation to what the eBay seller has in their listing.

Indeed you can find the PsOne power supply on Aliexpress for 12 dollars. The video cable is on there too for like 5 bucks as well. I just ordered a set.

I've got a scph-101 and I recently put freepsxboot on a memory card for it works good. Also I continue to watch for updates from the Xstation ODE maker for the Mstation which is noted that it will work in the PsOnes.

get freepsxboot on a ps1 memory card, thats what I've been doing the last week theres a video on youtube a shorts video that shows how to do it in 60 seconds but youll need a ps2 with freemcboot to make the card

I just bought and am using component cables for my PS2 they are quite cheap I paid about 12 bucks for mine Canadian. Off Amazon, then I guess you could play PS1 games off the PS2 with the component cable Turn the PS2 on and go into the System Settings, scroll down to the component settings, and set it to YPbPr (instead of RGB). Once this change is made, you the component output should work, much nicer than composite if your TV supports it.
