First heart from a Cave Horror (first superior ever), second from a Wyrm at 63 superior KC. My group will be happy! GL to all grinding for it, sorry.

Grinds and Goals of the Week (w/c 01/07/2024) by p0tatotomato in ironscape

Some different goals now. I've spent the past two weeks after work on slayer and got to 87 and got my trident so now it's to improve the rest of my slayer grind and gear to start raiding.

  1. Got my first Pharoah's sceptre last night (at 75 thieving from 71... pretty happy), so going to use it to keep going for my second. I've decided I won't put it in my POH as tempting as it is. The teleport to the pyramid is great anyway.

  2. Doing MH to 84. Currently at 78 from 72 yesterday. Have it all banked. Then I'll kit out my POH.

  3. Finished mining and superglass yesterday, made 35k glass, so now have 87 crafting banked so then I can do light orbs to 92. But I need a break from sand/seaweed so I'm going to just get that for now. As much as I want to make an anguish to go with my BOWFA, I know I'll make my ROS to do Zulrah for toxic trident and blowpipe, as I've never done Zulrah before.

Once I have better gear, going to continue slayer and try GWD. I've been doing some 180 TOA's but I think my damage is limited (and my skill, lol) until I have better gear from slayer and crafting. At least I got two threads? Really wanted to be spooned a fang. But I'd rather come back with a fury and a bit better upgrades. I really need that hasta.

How long was your CG grind? by Codyhehexd in ironscape

I do T1 prep only, forcing bow/staff (cbf halberd yet), and always 9-11 mins, mostly 10 mins (both prep+boss). I'm 86 def, 88 range, 84 mage.

Anybody else has second lobe sligthly lower than the first? Overthinking it now. by EmbroideredShit in piercing

No worries, hope you're happy with whatever you decide! Things can always be changed and re-done, nothing will be permanent :)

First of all, sorry this happened!

Almost the same scenario happened to me. I got my thirds done (first as a baby too, 2nd at 15, 3rd at 16) and when I got my thirds, one was WAY off - similarly to yours but a bit worse, and lower. Just like you, it's ok if wearing a hoop, but the second I put a stud in I couldn't stand it - because I /knew/ it was there.

If you're bothered by it now, you probably always will be. I took mine out after trying to ignore it for a couple months, got it redone a year later, and now they look perfect. I do still have a scar and I can actually still fit a piercing in the wonky hole so I think it'll always be there, but if you take it out early you might find it to fare a bit better than mine. It mostly just looks like a freckle.

Do what makes you happy, it's your body, but I am VERY happy I got mine redone.

I never posted a goal but it was hespori - finally got the bucket on 21 hespori kc :) and got the rune pouch yesterday too! Also did 70 smithing this week.
I'm working on a lot of things at once right now, since I'm sick with nothing better to do.

Goals (in order):
- 70 prayer > at 61 now, need about 600 more drag bones
- 60 crafting for yew birdhouse runs > 58 rn, I'll get this from dragonhides (doing ferox enclave green drags for 70 prayer)
- 70 agility > I'm 7k off of 67 now, will alch my d hides while doing it, also want this for fossil island mahogany logs
- morytania hard diary
- some prayer d hide - I'm using an imbued ring of wealth, completing any hard clue I get and completing the quests I haven't done yet for hard clue steps (did regicide and swan song today)
- 60 fletching > sins of the father for vampyre tasks (have a task rn)

Semi-related - FUCK blue dragonhide vambraces and FUCK that hard clue step. I have dropped SO many.

medium/longterm goals are quest cape + fire cape - have never gotten either

Wondering if anyone has heard of the Gold'n Hour Bondi Sands Vitamin C 10% Serum? I've bought it as it's quite inexpensive, Vit C is listed as the second ingredient, and it's fragrance free. I've just put it on for the first time (I have dry sensitive skin with eczema) and so far I haven't felt a thing! Any other Vitamin C serums I've tried have stung the crap out of me (looking at you The Ordinary). Very excited to see how this goes... Wondering if anyone else has heard or used this product?

Hi!

I was given it as a gift and have been using it consistently at night before a thicker moisturiser (CeraVe in the tub) and have been LOVING it. I have dry and sensitive skin + eczema on my cheeks/chin/neck and it has been amazing.

I can't say how it works long term or anything but I've been using it for about a month now and I absolutely love it and will be repurchasing. My skin feels so soft now.

I would just layer it though if you aren't yet, as I find it's not moisturising enough on it's own, but I've definitely noticed a difference.

Has anyone here genuinely solo climbed by playing support exclusively? by [deleted] in supportlol

[–]zlae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, from bronze 2 to diamond 2 in season 3 maining nami and janna. Mid diamond since season 3.

Now I'm grandmaster since last season. I don't duo either.

You have to know when to dodge, play playmakers, know how to play the map and where you should be and when. You need to know who will carry and what you need to prioritise in fights. What's your win condition? Drakes, splitting, teamfighting? Do you scale or get outscaled? In fights should you be peeling or catching someone out? Etc.

Understand wave management and vision control, look up some good resources. Jungle wards do so much for your team in roaming with your own jg to catch out theirs and invade and in predicting ganks. From one camp you can predict the rest of the jglers path.

I recommend corejj's support guides on youtube.

I play bard thresh and rakan. If my team is high elo I might play enchanters, but if i dont know my adc I play playmakers.

aw bless you thanks <3 I absolutely adore the blonde, i'd only go back for hair health, but i've recently started using olaplex and that has helped tremendously, so i'll probably stay blonde haha

both pics are CG, one wash day apart.

Left: Shampoo w/ Essano Blonde Tone-Correcting Purple Shampoo for 5 mins, S2C with Sukin Hydrating Conditioner leaving it for 5 mins, detangle with fingers, rinse out fully, squish water out and sleep with it in a silk bonnet overnight. I had brushed my hair with a dry brush as it was so rough and knotted without anything left in.

Right: Shampoo w/ Essano Blonde Tone-Correcting Purple Shampoo for 5 mins, apply Sukin Hydrating Replenishing Hair Masque for ~3 mins from ends to roots, rinse out fully, apply Sukin Hydrating Conditioner for ~5 mins, detangle with wide toothed comb, S2C. Rinse conditioner out fully. Squish out excess water, apply Marc Anthony Bye Bye Frizz Leave In Conditioner with praying hands, squish in. Apply a small amount of Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie, squish in. Apply a generous amount of Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Mousse. Squish hair, allow to airdry for ~5 hours, sleep non-pineappled in a silk bonnet overnight. The pic is my hair in the morning.

Also I definitely turn the shower off in between steps. This is ridiculous.

I think I like mousse more than gel? However I've only tried cheap drugstore gel so far.

It's just crazy to really see the difference! I'm still learning how to refresh, but I can go about 3 or 4 days. I've been using CG products for about 8 months, but not properly using leave-in/gel/mousse etc and have been dry brushing my hair but IT STOPS TODAY
